She founded a Yoga Teacher Training school, now Spanda Institute in 2009.

Today Nina lives in Portugal with her partner and their dog Seeta.

“I am a forever student; curious about human body, mind and heart. I love to learn and to share my knowledge with others.

I love photography, writing and generally creating something out of nothing. I’m a vegan and love to cook and create new recipes. Nature is my greatest teacher, and I love spending time surfing, sailing, hiking and exploring new places.

I believe in practicing compassion, tolerance and living from the heart - this is my most important daily yoga practice.”
